Over the past few months I’ve set out to ask loads of oldies about what they’ve learnt over 70+ years and what the key to success is. Almost every time the answer equates to ‘oh I don’t know, be happy and stuff I guess’. What I’ve gathered from that is that you won’t learn ANYTHING if you don’t deliberately set out to grow. It doesn’t happen accidentally! How tragic that one could be around for 80 yrs and still not be as wise as some people are at twenty/thirty-something!
